    The Center of Excellence for Low Carbon Technology is a non-profit institution whose purpose is to unite all the essential Slovenian potentials that enable harmonious, comprehensive and systematic development of advanced technologies that will accelerate Slovenia’s transition to a low-carbon society. At the same time, it is the national contact point for all Slovenian potentials in this field. It includes 3 research institutions (Institute of Chemistry, Jožef Stefan Institute and University of Ljubljana – Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering) and 10 industrial partners (Cinkarna, Domel, HSE, lNEA, Iskra Tela, Mebius, Petrol, Development Center for hydrogen technologies, Silkem, TEŠ). Most of the partners involved are a driving force in their field, not only within Slovenia, but also in Europe or even the world.
